RFMW announces design and sales support for a 5G filter from Akoustis. The A10235 XBAW™ filter offers a small form factor and low pass band insertion loss for 5G, n78 band RF filtering applications. Center frequency is 3500 MHz with a 200 MHz bandwidth. The A10235 has a sharp cut off, achieving 30 dB of rejection within 40 MHz of the passband, and retains rejection performance beyond the second harmonic. RF power withstanding is +29 dBm making it an ideal candidate for small cell infrastructure deployments. The surface mount package measures 2 x 2.5 mm.
RFMW announces availability of the Knowles – DLI, surface mount, high frequency, directional couplers series. Part of the series, the Knowles FPC06075 spans 12 to 18 GHz and provides a 10 dB coupling factor for Ku-band applications. Passband insertion loss is only 0.5 dB maximum. Incorporating DLI’s low loss, high permittivity ceramics provides small size with minimal performance variation over temperature. RFMW announces design and sales support for a mmWave frequency doubler from Keysight. The HMMC-5645 multiplies input frequencies from 10 to 20 GHz to provide 20 to 40 GHz output frequencies and is usable to 50 GHz. The circuit is a full wave rectifier, using diodes and a balun. Double diode junctions are used to increase power handling with access to diode bias such that the conversion loss can be made relatively flat over about a 20 dB input power range.
